Leah and Dylan birth story
Congratulations to Leah from Pregnancy Yoga! ‘It was incredible. Really perfect in every way, I could not have hoped for any better ❤️’
Suzanne and Sarah VBAC birth story
I repeated the mantra ‘my baby knows how and when to be born’ and trusted in it… until about 8 days over when I also threw every single labour inducing tip in the mix too from eating pineapples to Accupuncture! However unfortunately none worked and we got to 10 days over and finally had to accept a VBAC was not meant to be…
Julie and Heidi’s birth story
I had my baby in my arms. It’s hard to explain, my body was in pain, but it was a nice pain. Worth every single bit of it. Tea and toast was delivered and we were on top of the world as we shared the surprise with our families.
Leeanne’s VBAC experience
I genuinely so grateful to you for giving me such a positive mindset towards labour ❤️ And for equipping me with all the tools I needed 💪 After the birth, the midwife said it was very clear I’d done pregnancy yoga because of how good my breathing technique was, and that that’s what made her sure I wasn’t in labour, because I didn’t seem in pain 🤣 it goes to show the power of breathing!
Ciara’s birth story
I couldn't have hoped for a better birth. Sure I had myself written off for going two weeks over, having to be induced and then ending up with a section!!!! So funny. Female bodies are just incredible. I have a new found love and respect for mine.
Amy and Arlo- ‘ Small baby’ birth story
Amys wonderful positive induction from pregnancy yoga. ‘My whole labour experience was so positive and it's definitely thanks to all of the techniques and tips I learned in pregnancy yoga and from other Mama's in the classes.’
Zita and Dáire - ‘Big Baby’ birth story
Hi Lainey, So for the birth:
I woke at 6.30 Tuesday morning that my waters went. Got up quietly, made myself a cup of coffee and sat down thinking that this is probably my first peaceful coffee since Seána was born and probably the last one for the next 2 years too so I'm gonna enjoy it!
Clary Sage | Birth Support Oil
A must for your labour bag! Clary Sage is an essential oil commonly used to enhance and support effective contractions during labour and it is great to have in your birth kit to empower your birth experience. Safely handblended and available as a rollerball or Labour Mist for your birth space.
Krystina’s Birth Story
Hannah was born at 40 + 14 after a long labour at home, induction and then by C section it was quite a whirlwind, honestly my birth preferences went completely out the window but there was just no choices in the matter, but we are so in love!
Gail and Daniel’s Birth Story
I spent the next few hours walking around the room, doing some yoga poses, getting in the shower, and using all the breathing techniques you had taught us. When the contractions were really strong, you will be delighted to hear I was channeling you saying ‘floppy face…
The Last Days of Pregnancy: A Place of In-Between
The last few weeks and days of pregnancy can be a rollercoaster of emotions. My babies were born 40 +3, +13 and +9 each, and every day I wondered will it be today, will it be tonight, the excitment, the tears and everything in between. There is something unique about this time of in-between…
Why you should join our baby classes?
Valuable for both Mam and Baby. Baby meets other babies, perhaps for the first time, some will be older or more advanced and help encourage your baby to try out new things, like rolling over or sitting up. For Mam, it is invaluable to get out, share how you are feeling and take a few mins for your body to do some stretches and be with other women going through all the same emotions you are going through. You also learn lots of tips!
